Brewing up business

It's been a year since John S. and Chris D. Trogner located their Troeegs Brewing Co. on Paxton Street in Harrisburg.

In that year, they've gone from tap-only to tap and bottles, from three fermenters to five, from two styles of beer to four.

And they've experienced all the problems of a new business.

Chris, 24, said he and his brother have experienced "tons of growing pains.

"There's more footwork and marketing than you ever expect," said Chris. "You do more work outside the business than in," he added.

And the brothers said they underestimated how many draft accounts they would have, and twice had to order more kegs. "That's a good thing, though," …
