NSW: Road closures for Sunday's City to Surf

SYDNEY, Aug 10 AAP - A record of more than 50,000 people are expected to line up for
the annual City to Surf fun run on Sunday.

The 14km event begins at 10am (AEST) at the intersection of College, Park and William
Streets in Sydney's CBD and ends at Bondi Beach.

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) warned people travelling into the city on Sunday
to be wary of road closures.

The major closures are:

* Park Street between Elizabeth and College Streets.

* College Street between Prince Albert Road and Liverpool Street.

* William Street between College Street and New South Head Road.

* New South Head Road between William Street and Old South Head Road.

* Old South Head Road between New South Head Road and Military Road.

The RTA said many local roads around Bondi would also be closed, including Campbell
Parade between Military Road and Ramsgate Avenue.

Road closures would begin from 7am, and would progressively re-open for traffic from 1pm.
