Fed: Beazley denies disloyalty to Crean
CANBERRA, April 23 AAP - Labor backbencher Kim Beazley today denied he had been disloyalto the ALP and to party leader Simon Crean.
But Mr Beazley failed to rule out a leadership challenge.
Mr Beazley said Mr Crean's leadership rested entirely in his own hands and his leadershipdepended on his performance against Prime Minister John Howard.
"I reject the suggestion by Simon Crean today that I have been disloyal to the ALP,"
he said in a statement.
