NSW: Attack on Hookes a tragedy, Greig

Former England cricket captain TONY GREIG says the attack on Victorian coach DAVID
HOOKES in Melbourne last night was a tragedy.

HOOKES was found dead, but was revived by ambulance paramedics after being assaulted
outside the Beaconsfield Hotel in inner-suburban St Kilda at 11.45 pm (AEST).

He was taken to the Alfred Hospital with serious head injuries and is is now a coma.
